Life!

Life can sometimes be a little crazy. Today, as I was posting on facebook, I realized that in a matter of seconds things can change and as a mom, wife, and teacher, you have to be able to go with the flow. Going with the flow can be a challenge, especially for me. My husband would be the first to tell you that I don't like change and I am anything but spontaneous. Since we have been together, over 7 years, I have slowly started opening up to change. However, when I am in a groove, I can sometimes get flustered when life adds bumps in the road.

I have learned, especially after have my two kids, life never goes as planned so I NEED to be open to change and able to go with the flow whether getting up from my cup coffee to clean up poop or changing before I leave because of spit-up. Whatever the circumstance, I have to remind myself that change is good. I also take hold of my favorite Bible verse, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." So, this all leads me to the reason I decided to blog and why I chose the name I did.

I decided to blog because recently my husband and I had a little fun bantering back and forth about writing. We both love English and writing but have completely different styles. It reminded me of how much fun I had writing for the newspaper when I was in high school so I thought what a better way to write than to blog. I also thought, since I am terrible at documenting things for my kids, this would be a way for me to keep track of the fun things they do on a daily basis, such as poop :) This all lead me to my favorite thing to do which is think of creative names for my writing. So, after a little while of thinking (Yes, I can think every once in a while ;o), I decided on, "Never Enough of the ZZ's." I chose this because I never do get enough sleep but I can also never have enough of my Zekiah and Zoey. They are so much fun and I look forward to all the times they help me to become more flexible and go with the flow. Without them, I would never be open to change and I would still be trying to plan everything out. It is because of being blessed with my kids that I get to challenge myself and grow not only as a mom, but also as a wife, teacher, and follower of Christ.

Well, it is nap time, for all of us! Until next time, I challenge everyone to work on being more flexible. Healthy things must grow and change :)
